Promotion of standardized formal basic education among poor rural target communities through
i.Development of human capital through Educational Sponsorship for Needy Children (ESNEC) Schemes ii.Provision of basic school infrastructure and facilities
iii.Support for Early Childhood Development Programmes;
iv.Girl-Child Education Promotion at the Village Community level;
v.Partnering with other basic education providers including the churches and District Assemblies at the local level.
vi.Stimulating an environment that engenders parents sending and retaining their children in school.
vii.Promotion of Partnership between Ghanaian rural schools and their counterparts abroad.
viii.Promotion of vocational and entrepreneurial training for women in target rural households towards self-employable skills acquisition.
- Mainstreaming and sustaining Gender into all facets of ASRuD’s programmes.
- Integration of Preventive Health and support services into ASRuD’s programmes, namely:
- Rural evangelism and Village spiritual growth support.
